Playgroups
The Sherborn Social Club has had a long history of coordinating
playgroups for mothers in town and their age 4 and under children.
Typically the groups are limited to about 8 families or less and meet
one day a week at one of the member's homes. A coordinator is picked
for each group and they put together the calendar of who is able to host
which weeks and send out reminder emails. Typically the hostess for
that week puts out something to drink and snacks for the children.
Usually the playdate does not exceed 1 1/2 hours. Regular attendance
and offering to host is encouraged, but not required. Other caregivers,
such as nannies, are welcome to attend as well.
If you are interested in joining a playgroup, please send an email to
sherbornsocialclub@yahoo.com with the subject "Playgroups" and
include the following information:
Your Name (and Sitter's name if they will be attending more often)
Children's Names and Ages
1st Choice of Day and Time
2nd Choice of Day and Time
